Cold Nights, Hot Bodies by Lily Harlem

I'm hoping to catch up on so many older reads this year! Here's one from 2011!
Cannot believe I waited so long for this fairytale romance!

All my life I’ve been the quiet bookworm, the office mouse.
It hasn’t bothered me. Immersing myself in erotic novels has kept me wriggling on the edge of my seat at work and firmly entrenched
in my own fantasy world at night.

Though one thing is bothering me—my damn virginity.
If only I could find a sexy bedroom expert to introduce me to the delights
of having a lover. Someone handsome and charming, who can rival the hunky alpha males in my books. I have a very vivid,
very well-fed imagination—he’ll have to keep up.

Then, one bitterly cold night, thanks to a devious, conniving,
so-called friend, the perfect opportunity to rid myself of this pesky
virginity problem comes along. Before I know it, the heroes in my novels have come alive in the person of Shane Galloway, who’s pleasuring me
with every trick in the book and wheedling into my heart
in the hottest ways possible.

Terrific read! Truly romantic.
Hot, sexy, beautifully descriptive
and erotic in all the right places!
It's an emotionally rich but simple story - a feel good read, with some stunning, gorgeous, dirty hot scenes.

The Hero Shane, although broken himself,
made me melt at the way he was falling for
and taking care of Ashley - ugh... I loved him,
I'd have given it up for him too!

I'm not generally one for insta-love!
But I felt this one and the author kept it real. I loved that Ashley was a huge romance and erotica reader!
(I actually checked out if the books he read were real!!)
AND it's set in the English countryside during a snow storm (perfection!) you know I love these stranded reads!!!

Sometimes, it's lovely to find a story that captures your heart, you REALLY want it to work for the couple!

Fabulous! I enjoyed that it's a standalone..   so no series to chase either as it ends on a scrummy hot HEA epilogue.

This author has taken me completely by surprise, this ones been on my Kindle TBR for years!! I'll definitely be reading more of her books. So happy to have found her!
~ Just what I needed to start my 'catch-up' reading year ~

RAZE by Tillie Cole

  To take back life,
one must first face death...

WOW!
Dark
Lethal
Brutal
Intense
 Passionate
with so many secrets and lies
that it was deadly...

How this clever author manages to add beautiful
to that list I don't know! But manage it she has!
I'm really pleased to have read Raze, loved that it was standalone, that it's well written and furiously paced,
that suited it perfectly. There were so many breakneck moments when I caught myself holding my breath -
 it's a such a roller coaster
of a read that some scenes left me in pain...

So glad I got a chance to meet Luka and Kisa.
Can't wait to read more by this British author!
