My dirty talking hero yet again!


And Lila was as feisty and real as I hoped and wanted her to be.




Although I accept that this book (like Breach) won't be everyone's cup of tea, not seeing past their rough sex and their dirty talk, is to not accept that it happens within happy, healthy, loving relationships.


The point of the story was that love (in whatever form it took) conquered all.


This book was beautifully written in many layers that kept me enthralled. It's by an author who never needs to question her skills or doubt herself.

It's going to be a long wait until book 3 - so whilst we're enjoying Obsession and whispers in the Dark, we can pop back here and keep an eye on things!!

Incredible non-con read...

4.75!! - I'm knocking a bit off until I get a book two!! I WANT A PROPER HEA!!

I needed a couple of days to think about this review, because just when I thought that there were no surprises left in erotica, this came along!

Dark and thought provoking, shitloads of hidden depth and undercurrents. Amazing writing, SUPERB execution - it was incredibly tight the way it fixates solely on he and she. Outstanding.


Tears to the point of sobs at around the 20% and 80% marks.

Surely there's another book to go with this one? I loved how 'she' ended thing's with 'him', but I want a different ending for the book and answers to the questions we were left with. There is so much more that could be said. I'm left wanting more.
