What a fantastic book! They just hit the spot, I've given 4*, 4.5*, 5*, 5* for this series.
A seamless mix of sex, crime, mystery, love, hate, teamwork and friendship - erotic suspense at it's best. And all with a HEA.

The scene has been perfectly set for book 5 - I can't wait, Ian's THE ONE for me! Hoping for a 6* finish!

Love that we have 4.5 Sanctum too.

My Favorite Book of 2013

What the fuck did I just read? Wow! STUNNING! 

I need more stars, for me it's a 10!

We know that our personal kinks kick in and release that feeling of being completely alive when we read erotica (otherwise we'd all still be reading crime novels!!).

Well, the fantastically fucked up bit of my brain that loves being dirty talked to just went into heart stopping overdrive with this book!!

And that's why (as the saying goes) no two persons ever read the same book! It's really well written, with a great story and it's deliciously filthy! But it won't be everyone's cup of tea.

This book genuinely grabbed all of my kinks by the throat and squeeeeezed them to the point where my chest hurt!!

Oh.My.Fucking.God - I loved it. I devoured it, it possessed me, it tore me up.

Bam Bam Baby! Willing Victim by Cara McKenna

Oh my fucking God how did I not know about Cara McKenna before Willing Victim?

Michael Flynn is my ultimate hotter than hell anti-hero. Yes, he's into rough sex, rape fantasies (as is Laurel) and control in the bedroom but out of it he's witty, funny, kind, loyal to his family and so much more ...I WANT HIM!

So, he's 32, she's 29. They're not wealthy or virgins, she's even had a bit back-door action, there's no naivety going on here - she wants this. And although she's moving into a darker side of herself it isn't done in a way that would put me on edge. Laurel is completely in control when things get rough she has her safe word, this is only fantasy and doesn't in any way condone rape. It isn't non-con, it's a completely consensual fantasy.

I couldn't put it down, it's a love story. Four fantastic hours of reading and although it's a standalone book, I want more! If it had been a third longer to give me more depth, it would have been a 6!

I LOVE FLYNN, give me more Cara!
