Isolated {Evan Arden #4} by Shay Savage

I doubt very much that you're reading this 

unless you're already into the series 

and a fan of Shay's exquisite stories. 

So you'll already know it's going to be

perfectly written, beautifully executed and hotter 

than a furnace! (ironic considering the backdrop!)

But for her to then blend two such complex characters 

in Bastion and Evan and bring them together for 

 Bastion's Storm and Isolated 

and to make that work so perfectly was genius! 

It was like a little piece of heaven for me. 

I love survival stories so much. 

In it's own way this little one equals Surviving Raine 

(one of my favorite books ever) for it's depth 

of story and attention to detail. 

Somehow Shay creates a moment by moment, 

breathtaking, heartfelt read every time 

- no matter the length.

This may be a quick read, but it packs a punch.

 It's unmissable, un... putdownable! and unbelievably 

I loved it! 

I'd never want to spoil the little something that's

 coming to light for these two... 

but OMG it's going to be an explosive next book. 

I can't wait for more!!

Mob Mistress {Bossman #2} ~ Renee Rose

Not going to lie, I had my concerns for the whole 'goomah' side of this one! I'm never going to be a fan of cheating reads (whatever the context!) so I felt a definite rush of happiness as the truth of this story unfolded LOL!!

Turns out it's a brilliantly simple, happy love story 

with a deliciously consensual, 
domestic discipline theme 

and it didn't let me down! 

No one writes spanking better than Renee Rose! 

WOW the hairbrush and belt scenes alone left me 

feeling the sting with Lexi!! 
OUCH!!

I couldn't help but fall for Bobby!  

The powerful mobster with a dirty mouth, 
even dirtier controlling nature and the sex drive 
of an eighteen year old with a whopping great... 
point to prove!! 

What's not to love!

His heart of gold toward Lexi and his adoration
 of his daughters made for a great story!

Can't wait for more!

The Bossman by Renee Rose

 “Just don’t leave me,” he whispered.

Fuck! I fell completely for Joey La Torre. 

He felt genuine and real. I don't know if it was the Mob 

or the Italian angle - I just adored his character. 

It was probably both!

She gave a surprised laugh. “You are so full of shit, La Torre.”

“It’s not shit, it’s the God’s honest truth.

I’ve had it for you since the moment I saw you.

I’d marry you today, if you’d have me.”

 I can't believe how much I loved Eden too. 

Feisty, cold and cutting, 
every bone in her was fighting him.

God, I loved that. There was no insta-love on her part.

“It’s our last date, not our next date,” she called after him.

 I've never read a spanking book that went so deep. 

I really enjoyed the banter between Eden and Joey but more than that

 I enjoyed reading a story about domestic discipline that wasn't up it's own ass, 

It felt natural and right and many of the scenes were blistering hot.

 Renee Rose writes spanking love stories, beautifully.
I look forward to more!

ARC REVIEW ~ Spin by C.D. Reiss

I'm not gonna lie, the first 20% nearly killed me! 

It didn't work for me at all, purely from a story POV 
it didn't flow well. It felt disjointed. That's my reason for .5 off.
(Don't be put off by this!!)

I've been desperate for this series and so I kept going.
I'm soooo pleased that I did!!

 I hit the 22% mark and

It took off with a vengeance!
I loved the story from that point on. I loved Antonio Spinelli
and as a huge Sopranos fan 
the Mafia angle just hit the spot perfectly for me. 
More, more, more please Capo!

I read the rest in awe. 

NO-ONE can beat C.D.Reiss' way with words. 

C.D. writes some of the most poetic, breathtaking

lines that I've ever read. 

She is a genius with words.

 "I tried to stay away," he said. "I've never wanted a woman this much in my life. I'd burn cities to have you. I'd fight armies. 

I'd commit murder to take you right now."
