Wife for Hire ~ Christine Bell

Fuck it! Everything I knew about this one screamed a 4,

not much sex, quite short, bit of a silly storyline (initially).
BUT!!

Honestly, it's a little gem and it made me smile!! 

Loads of perfectly written sexual tention.

Owen, an Irish Alpha to melt over

A strong heroine in Lindy (with a few quirks!)

And lines that gave me book butterflies

So, if I can't put a book down, if I devour every page, it's seriously well written, 

makes me laugh and tingle (even if it made me wait until 75% for some hot action!)
...then it's a 5 for me!

It had genuinely touching, heart melting moments and a shit load of fantastic lines that I read and reread.

I loved it! It was well worth loosing hours of sleep for lol!

    

Angel After Dark ~ Kahlen Aymes

 For the first book of a new series,  we're off to a great start!
I'm positive this series will be hitting me with a full 5 star read next!
I'll be astonished if it doesn't!

I've given this one 4 Stars for two reasons.
 It is a slow burner. And it's a full 55% before there's any action!
The great storyline had me transfixed though so I was done in two sessions!

That being said as they're a couple from then on,
my instinct is that book two will be hotter than hell!

I absolutely loved the banter between Alex & Angel 

and quite honestly the advice she was giving on her radio show
was advice that at some point we should all listen too!

TOTAL WOW!
I think I held my breath for the last 40 percent 
of this brilliant finale.
I mean, it really was breathtaking!!

My first Shay Savage series and it was brilliant!

I'm just in awe of how she brought this all together.

With Evan trying to heal through love...

And Lia making him believe in himself...

Oh, and that last big scene?...

OMFG!! IT BLEW ME AWAY!!

"I don't want to hurt you," I said. 

"I do want to fuck the ever-loving shit out of you, though."

OH YEAH!!

I'd really hoped that they'd want to live the quiet life at some point!!

But you never know when you might need to go to work!!

Thanks so much for a brilliant series - I've loved it hard.
